Who We Are
Beth Chamberlin: I'm Beth Chamberlin. I'm 62 years old, and I've never felt stronger, clearer, or more excited about what's ahead. But I didn’t feel this way at 42. In fact, I felt the opposite, the show I was on wrote me off, cast me aside. Have you felt cast aside? Written off by others?
I got lucky. I fell into a way to take back my power and live my best life yet. But you don’t have to get lucky. You can follow my path.
I created this retreat because I've watched too many accomplished women dim their light, believing their best years are behind them. This retreat is my answer: five days where I share what I got “lucky” in finding so you don’t have to “get lucky.” You’ll remember who you are, rebuild your power, and design your boldest chapter yet.
I'm a fitness trainer with 20+ years of experience and owner of Nyack Boot Camp in New York. I'm also a certified facilitator in applied compassion training from a year-long program through Stanford University. My retreat combines evidence-based fitness and nutrition science with the best practices in applied compassion training along with my years as an actor playing to create a unique approach I call “play with purpose” that you won't find anywhere else.

Dr. Peter Roy: Dr. Peter Roy has been a practicing chiropractor for over 35 years. Through his training and experience as a certified fitness trainer, a certified kettlebell training specialist, co-owner of Nyack Boot Camp, and his years of clinical experience in sports nutrition, Dr. Roy has helped Beth develop her 5/2 Lifestyle Plan of proper nutrition, supplementation and strength-training for women over 45. At the retreat, Dr. Roy will be conducting body composition assessments, providing KT taping applications for support and pain relief and available for Q & A sessions regarding nutrition and supplementation. Dr. Roy is also available for private consultations to help participants continue their progress after the retreat by following a personalized home protocol that they develop together.

In this workshop, I combine my 30+ years as a professional actress with my applied compassion training certification to create what I call "Play with Purpose."
Through experiential exercises—not lectures—you'll discover how movement creates emotion, how body language influences every interaction, and how what you're thinking speaks louder than what you're saying. You'll learn the quickest way to trigger dopamine, oxytocin, and endorphins. You'll practice reading emotional cues in others that most people miss. And you'll discover how to be undeniable and fully visible.
